  This is probably one of my new favorite brunch spots. I fake here with my boyfriend after attempting to eat at Bobcat Bonnie's, and let me tell you, it was well worth it! They have bottomless-ish mimosas, $5 for the first and $0.75 a refill. In other words, I had three mimosas from 7.25! Freaking awesome deal! In addition, their brunch options are surprisingly extensive! It was so hard deciding what to get; everything looked good. I ended up ordering the Irish egg Benedict. It was topped with their famous corned beef hash and poached eggs, and served with cheesy potatoes! They also had a coffee/hot chocolate bar and a Bloody Mary bar.
  
  If you like Irish food and brunch and a good deal on mi, look no further!

  McShanes is not an 'Irish Pub',
  Its one of those shameless establishments that throws some gaudy OIrish knick knacks like Leprechauns, Shamrocks and  Guinness signage about the place and they think that gives them the right to adopt the 'Irish Bar' moniker,
  Profiting off a culture it clearly could care less about.
  
  This was evident when I was in last month and noticed that the Irish flag, the Tri Color, was hung upside down.
  Im an Ireland born Irishman from Dublin, born and bred, this offends me greatly, as thousands of my countrymen fought and died defending what that flag stands for.
  
  But maybe I shouldn't be too hasty, as maybe they were honoring the Ivory Coast whose flag is Orange,  White and Green,
  
  I mentioned it to management on the night and they laughed at me thinking it was all a big joke.
  
  I went in out of curiosity the other night to check if its still hanging wrong,
  It is
  
  Can you imagine if a US flag was hung upside down and disrespected in such a way , when and you go and rightfully complain and inform a manager they dismiss it!!!!
  
  Well that's how I feel.
  
  I dont think Irish culture is why people frequent this place
  
  It offers a feee shuttle to local sports games hence the popularity
  
  But among Irish born folk and Irish Americans in Detroit, its not well liked for the reasons I mentioned above.
  
  I certainly wont ever darken its door again.
  
  Detroit deserves a real Irish owned and orientated Pub.
  
  Not dives like this that trade off ugly stereptypes and canards that make a mockery of Irish heritage.

  I don't know why I haven't eaten here before today!
  
  I was craving french onion soup, I'm so glad it's on your menu. It was salty and perfect. Putting the cheese on the bottom was a great idea - the soup keeps it warm, and it doesn't harden by the time you get it to the office.

  This is the piece of bread that came with my meal. Kinda looks like a breadstick but in the past it's been an entire piece lol. Idk what's been going on lately but if you order off door dash..Sometimes you may get the same experience as dining in, but sometimes.... you get a bread stick lol

  I don't understand the hype about this place.
  
  My husband's coworkers had their Christmas dinner party at this location and I was not impressed.
  
  The restaurant and bar is old and dirty. It needs better lighting, new carpet and for the love of everything holy, fix the locks in the women's bathroom. You can't even lock the stall door...
  
  They have a variety of sandwiches, salads, and entrees. My husband (and many others) had the steak and said it was ok. I had the crab cake appetizer. The sauce was much too sweet.
  
  The service was pretty attentive given the number of people in the party, but they weren't very friendly.
  
  There are plenty of places to eat in Corktown, I wouldn't recommend this one.
